Stylistically, this combination belongs somewhere between jazz and pop, and their joint work is also partly conceptual and synthetic. The lineup of the Robert Balzar Trio has changed several times to its current form, which consists of double bassist Robert Balzar, pianist Vít Křištan, and percussionist Kamil Slezák. Dan Bárta has been collaborating with the group since 1999, and their work and they themselves have received numerous annual music awards. In addition to their homeland, they have performed successfully in a number of European countries as well as in the USA.
