The city festival, located just a short distance from the city center, will offer an oasis of peace and relaxation on the Petržalka embankment at Yuzu House—just a stone’s throw from the Danube.

Irvine Welsh, the iconic Scottish writer and author of the novel Trainspotting, will visit Slovakia for the first time for the Danube Music Days 2026 festival. On Saturday, June 27, he will appear at Yuzu House in Bratislava, where he will discuss his work and the film adaptations of his novels, followed by a DJ set. Over the course of the two-day festival, other major names from the global electronic and alternative music scenes will also perform, including Digitalism, The Orb, Biggi Veir (GusGus), Wolfgang Flür (ex-Kraftwerk), Skalpel, L’Eclair, and Pale Blue Eyes.

The open-air venue, with a maximum capacity of 700 visitors, will offer high-quality cuisine, festival drinks, and exclusive merchandise in a unique setting along the Danube with a stunning sunset.
