Daoud is the problem child of jazz, refusing to play by the rules.
His work is charged with constant tension: between playfulness and seriousness, chaos and tenderness, irony and sincerity.

On stage, daoud and his band disrupt the established norms of music, and since the release of their critically acclaimed album Good boy in 2024, they have played a series of sold-out concerts and outstanding performances, from Ronnie Scott's in London to the Montreux Jazz Festival, with a stop in Marciac. At the same time, daoud composes and produces for other artists without giving up his personal approach, which is increasingly free and uncompromising.
