Film Overview: Directed by Brittany Prater, an Ames-based filmmaker and artist, Uranium Derby dives into a young woman's investigation of her hometown's covert ties to the Manhattan Project. This exploration unearths not just hidden histories but also the buried realities of nuclear waste management. 💣🌍
