Ellen Dickinson plays the Lurie Carillon

Join us at the iconic Lurie Tower for a captivating performance by Ellen Dickinson, the esteemed College Carillonneur at Trinity College and Yale University! 🎵

Ellen boasts a remarkable teaching career, with over thirty of her students becoming members of the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America (GCNA). In 2020, she was commissioned by a consortium of six colleges to create A New Carillon Book, introducing diverse music from around the world along with original compositions. 🌍✨

Ellen has dedicated her talents to the GCNA in various roles, recently serving as chair of the Sally Slade Warner Arrangements and Transcriptions Competition. Her extraordinary contributions to carillon art earned her the GCNA Certificate of Extraordinary Service in 2017. 🏆

Concert staff, identifiable by their nametags, will be present to assist with any questions or direct you to accessible restrooms and facilities. For the best acoustic experience, sit far enough from the tower to maintain a direct line of sight to the bells. 🎶

• Additional street parking along Bonisteel Blvd is available after business hours, with free parking at nearby locations after 6 p.m.:
