🎨 About the Exhibition:
Maria Kallau’s artwork navigates the intricate boundary between vulnerability and aggression through her series 'Borderline'. The paintings depict young individuals in dynamic, playful poses that subtly hint at deeper themes of shame, violence, and control. 🌱 Adolescence is portrayed as a transformative phase, where each piece reflects the lessons of touching, submitting, withdrawing, and resisting.

These works showcase an in-between space, an emotional landscape where instinct and consequence are yet to align. Each brushstroke tells a story of identity shaped through experimentation and emotional risk, enhanced by soft color palettes and intimate details that expose the psychological depth of her subjects.
