The Journey
I. The Workshop: Foundations & Flow (2.5 Hours)
Subko invites both beginners and seasoned practitioners into the heart of his craft. This session demystifies the rigorous beauty of the North Indian tradition, focusing on:
• The Engine: Voice culture, breath control, and tonal resonance.
• The Architecture: An introduction to the structure of Raga.
• The Spirit: The art of improvisation and the cultivation of Bhava (emotional expression).
• Whether you are taking your first steps into vocal music or are a practicing musician, these universal principles of awareness and spontaneity will resonate across all genres.
Chai pe Charcha: Tea, Snacks & Talk
After the workshop, we’ll transition into a dedicated interactive session. Over a fresh pot of chai and savory snacks, the floor is yours. This is a space for lively questions, shared reflections, and informal exchanges with Supriyo. Whether you want to dig deeper into a specific technique or simply chat about the life of a musician, this is where the community truly connects.
