[HKUST 35th Anniversary] Firebird Hackathon Finals Witness AI Innovation Entering Industry Reality

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the Firebird Hackathon brings together over 200 young developers, entrepreneurs, and AI innovators from 7 countries and regions worldwide for intensive creation and competition on industry-specific and open-ended topics.

The grand final of this competition will be held on August 8th at HKUST (Clearwater Bay Campus). The final day will showcase a number of AI innovation projects with real-world industry applications, practical potential, and commercial appeal, and will invite representatives from academia, industry, investment institutions, and enterprises to witness the profound collision between technology and industry.

30+ Innovative Projects Showcase: Outstanding teams from different tracks will showcase AI applications, intelligent agents, industry solutions, and startup prototypes, presenting young developers' visions and practices for the future of industry.
