Welcome Fish Out of Water to the AYC stage! 🌊 This phenomenal, bathrobe-toting, funk-thumping international act from San Diego, CA, has spent over 15 years crafting an exceptionally entertaining live show, blending various musical styles into their unique formula known as RoPhunk RaeHop.

Fish Out of Water has toured extensively from 2009 to 2019, refining their sound into a well-oiled rock, funk, reggae, and hip-hop machine. In 2017, they released their fifth album, Married to the Music, which quickly generated buzz in the music community and was submitted for a Grammy in the “Best Album by a New Artist” category. The hit single Chicken and Blunts even made it to the top 100 downloaded singles on iTunes! 📈

Founded by cousins Kyle and Brandon Moon, who grew up together and started their journey in San Luis Obispo, CA, the band has performed over 2,000 shows since 2000, sharing the stage with renowned acts like The Wailers, Fishbone, and G-Love. Some of their highlights include performances at the 3 Falls Festival, Earthdance, and the Chili Vibrations Music Festival.

By blending diverse genres—from their rock roots to conscious hip-hop beats and reggae with heavy ska influences—they craft a show that keeps everyone on their feet! 🎸🎷❤️

Beyond just music, FOW is dedicated to giving back to their community. Their efforts include raising funds for hurricane relief and donating their time to causes like breast cancer awareness and foster care. They also collaborate with the Wesley Burnham Foundation to distribute ukuleles to underprivileged youth during their travels.
