What is this?

Join us for a monthly roundtable designed specifically for founding product managers, early PM hires, and PMs-turned-product-leaders who are pioneering in early-stage startups.

Why this matters

The role of a founding PM has always been challenging. You’re crafting the product roadmap with limited data, making crucial product decisions with minimal resources, and navigating founder dynamics without a clear playbook.

But the environment is rapidly evolving! With agentic coding increasing shipping velocity, the responsibilities of PMs now extend into coding and prototyping, in addition to roadmap prioritization and user research. You're often the sole PM in the room, surrounded by diverse functions and perspectives moving faster than ever before. While founders have supportive networks like YC and OnDeck, founding PMs have lacked something similar. The Founding PM Circle aims to fill that gap.

Jaron Parnala — Founding PM at Bison Trails, a blockchain infrastructure platform acquired by Coinbase for $457M. Jaron has a rich history in product management, being the first PM at Distributional, an AI evaluations and testing platform, and starting his career at Pivotal Labs (acquired by VMware).
