Goalball taster event with Royal Society for Blind Children & Goalball UK
Have you ever wanted to try out Goalball?
"Goalball is a competitive Paralympic team sport for athletes with visual impairments. Teams of three players wear blackout eyeshades and throw a heavy, bell-filled ball by hand. Players rely entirely on their hearing and sense of touch to track the ball, score goals, and defend their net with their bodies"
The fantastic team over at Goalball UK have kindly offered to run a taster session with us so everyone has an opportunity to have a go!
If its your first time trying out goalball, or you're a seasoned pro you are most welcome, the day is about exploring the sport and getting comfortable with how its played!
Do come along and find out exactly what goalball is all about!
