The Battle Between YES and NO marks the first extensive exhibition in the Czech Republic dedicated to the work of South African artist William Kentridge, whose practice weaves political, historical, and personal experiences into universal themes of human existence.
Participants will follow his creative evolution from early animated films to current multidisciplinary projects encompassing drawing, sculpture, performance, film, and opera, while exploring how these diverse media interact with one another. The tour also introduces a workshop for schools focusing on the technique of chroma keying in video, created in collaboration with artist Matěj Smetana.
