Hike Bokrijk – Beringen (31 km) - max 20 pers
Join us for an adventurous hike from Bokrijk to the historic mining city of Beringen! 🌳
Bokrijk is a 550-hectare nature domain known for its open-air museum, impressive arboretum, and vast network of walking trails. On our way, we will stop at the popular animal farm for lunch, where you can learn more here. Additionally, you'll experience the unique attraction of “Cycling Through Water,” crossing right over the lake!
Continuing our journey, we'll explore De Platwijers, one of Flanders’ beautiful pond landscapes, famous for its tranquil waters, rich birdlife, and stunning views. 🦢
The final stretch features a mix of forests, serene woodland paths, and charming rural countryside. 🌲 After the hike, we’ll unwind with a beer, ice cream, or snack in a local pub in Beringen before heading back to Brussels. 🍻
Don't forget to buy Maikel a drink! Cheers! 🍹
Hiking Details: We’ll maintain an average pace of 5 km/h and traverse both paved and unpaved roads. Note that I haven't walked this path before, so some surprises might await us!
