Join the Hornsby Musical Society as we open the doors for auditions for our exciting November 2026 production of Reefer Madness!
Set against the backdrop of the 1930s, this musical delves into the dark and sensationalized propaganda surrounding marijuana, fueled by political agendas and media exaggeration. Discover how figures like Commissioner Harry J. Anslinger and newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst shaped public perception with fear-mongering tales, ultimately leading to a societal panic during the Great Depression.
