
In-person Pregnancy, Birth and Breastfeeding Classes
Prepare for the incredible journey of labor, birth, and welcoming your new baby in a supportive, in-person learning environment! 🤰👶
These classes are FREE to attend, though registration is recommended. Walk-ins are always welcome! Feel free to bring your own water and snacks.

Monthly Class Rotation:

Class 1: Pregnancy & Labor Preparation
Learn what to expect in the final weeks of pregnancy, how to recognize labor signs, and what to expect upon hospital arrival. -
Class 2: What Happens During Childbirth?
Explore the labor and birth process, coping techniques, partner support, vaginal birth, and immediate postpartum recovery. -
Class 3: Medical Interventions, Induced Labor, Cesarean Birth, Hospital Tour
Understand common labor interventions, inductions, and cesarean births. Includes a tour of the Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units. -
Class 4: Postpartum Transition, Newborn Care & Breastfeeding
Discuss postpartum recovery, newborn care, mood changes, and breastfeeding education.
Flexible Class Format:
These classes are flexible! You can attend any class at any time that fits your schedule during pregnancy. The topics rotate monthly, and we encourage you to bring a support person if possible. Don’t forget to bring the education book titled Your Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, and Parenting, which you received from your OB provider. Each month has a specific class rotation, and if there are extra Tuesdays, no class will be held on that day. Classes restart on the first Tuesday of each month!
