Join us for a unique Amazonian "mini festival" celebrating the rich heritage of the Indigenous Tukano People of Brazil and Colombia. We’re thrilled to host Chief Álvaro Tukano, also known as Doéthiro, a respected elder and leader from the Amazon, renowned as a pioneer in the Indigenous rights movement across Latin America. 📚🎥

With years of experience, Chief Álvaro has mentored countless Indigenous leaders globally and played a crucial role in advancing Indigenous rights both in Brazil and at the UN.

His teachings will address some pressing questions:

How can we appreciate Indigenous traditions without tokenization?
What are our responsibilities in working with traditional medicines?
What are the risks involved for those from Western cultures interacting with Indigenous traditions?
