🌿Intro to Foraging🌿 ticketed event🌿
Join us for a hands-on Intro to Foraging walk and workshop! 🌱 This engaging event promises a wholesome experience where you will learn to replace your salads, teas, and seeds with wild, edible alternatives, all while saving money and giving back to nature.
✨ Over a relaxed 3-hour guided walk, you'll discover how to identify common edible and medicinal plants in your local environment. Perfect for anyone—no experience necessary! We'll focus on a slow pace and maintain a small group, embracing the outdoors.
💚 Come curious and leave more connected to the land. Our meetup point is at one of the Richmond community gardens. Exact details will be shared upon registration.
📚 The workshop includes an essential 30-40 minute introductory talk covering fascinating insights about how plants can help us and how we can assist them. You'll learn practical foraging tools and explore 10-12 easy-to-remember plants found in nearly every backyard.
Children and pets are welcome for free! 🚶♀️ Please walk, bike, or take public transport to minimize our environmental impact.
🌧️ In case of rain, we'll reschedule to the next available date—stay tuned for updates!
🔗 Registration is essential, so please sign up to help us keep our event smooth and organized: Register here — $50 per person.
