Join us for the Jaqkodí Sustainability Series with our Alteration Masterclass! 🌿

In this 6.5-hour hands-on workshop, led by our talented Junior Designer Jasmine Dawes, you'll dive into the art of garment alterations. This empowering session is designed for all skill levels—whether you're a total beginner or have some experience with needle and thread!

What to Expect:

• Introduction to tools and equipment 🛠️
• Master the art of hemming 👖
• Learn to take in seams for a perfect fit ✂️
• Explore waist adjustments, including elastic waistbands and darts 🔄
• Fix buttons, holes, and even add decorative patches 🎨
• Deep dive into fastenings such as zips 🔑
• Hands-on practice on your garments!

What to Bring:

• A plain t-shirt (for practice) 👕
• One item from your wardrobe you'd like to alter (avoid thick or structured items like jeans) 🚫

• Getting Here: Just a short 10-minute walk from Langdon Park DLR station and 15 minutes from Bromley-by-Bow Underground and East India DLR stations.
