Join us for an unforgettable evening as we welcome the internationally acclaimed Icelandic artist Jófríður Ákadóttir, known as JFDR! 🎤✨ Known for her unique blend of shimmering ambient pop and contemporary indie folklore, JFDR is celebrated for capturing the beauty of nature through her music.

Having launched her career at just 14 with the band Pascal Pinon, JFDR has since released
12 records and collaborated with notable artists such as Ólafur Arnalds and Damien Rice. Her recent albums, New Dreams (2020) and Museum (2023), have garnered critical acclaim from outlets like Pitchfork, Paste Magazine, and The Line of Best Fit, the latter describing her as “A rare phenomenon.” 🌟

This spring, JFDR will be supporting Japanese folk artist Ichiko Aoba on her international tour, and we are excited to present her for a special headline show in Gothenburg between performances in Copenhagen and Stockholm.

Opening for JFDR is Emiliano Sacripanti, an Argentinian musician and producer based in Gothenburg. His music merges classical guitar with evolving textures and loops, and draws inspiration from Argentine folk, indie-folk, and ambient genres, creating an organic and analogue sound. 🎸💫
