Some artists have a fixed formula, but Jonas Abrahamsson explores what happens when a song changes direction halfway through. On 15 October, he will perform music from his debut album, BIG LOVE, at Inkonst. This album showcases his unique songwriting approach, characterized by a restless curiosity and a commitment to evolving ideas. What starts as an intimate piece can transform into something larger and brighter, always guided by his inquisitive nature.

Many within the Inkonst and Intonal community already recognize Abrahamsson as the wild-eyed drummer of Vanligt Folk, known for his innovative use of everyday objects as percussion instruments. With BIG LOVE, he places songwriting at the forefront, retaining the unpredictability, humor, and emotional honesty that define his performances. His set draws from pop, indie, and rock traditions, incorporating spontaneity and playful language use—often switching between multiple languages throughout the performance.

Opening the evening are local favorites TUNGA DIVISIONEN, who emerged from a rehearsal room on the outskirts of Malmö. Known for their energetic live shows and playful songwriting, they blend indie pop, funk, and soul into a sound that is uniquely their own.
