On August 1, dive into the science of reef recovery as a citizen scientist. Learn about coral restoration techniques, then actively participate in fragmenting coral using Mote’s research methods. Your efforts help create genetically identical duplicates that grow up to 50 times faster than wild coral! 🐚💪

After a morning of learning with Mote scientists, dive in to help maintain coral nurseries and monitor coral health! This is your chance to leave the reef better than you found it. 🌴

Pricing:

• Dive Option: $200
• Snorkel Option: $150

These cover the restoration workshop, fragmentation training, and a two-tank dive or snorkel, along with a citizen science card. Gear rental is not included, but the dive shop can assist in setting it up. Tanks and weights are provided. 🐋

Important: Divers must be 15 or older, and those aged 15-17 require a parent or guardian. Activities are subject to water and weather conditions.
