Kids Fishin' Derby & Campout

Join us at Capp Smith Park in Watauga for a delightful evening of family fun, fishing, and camping under the stars!

🗓 Event Details:

• Date: September 11th - 12th
• Time: 5:00 PM to 10:00 AM

🎣 Fishing Derby:

• Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
• Age: Open to kids ages 16 and under (all ages welcome to fish!)
• Catch-and-Release Event
• Poles and bait provided (feel free to bring your own)

🏕 Campout:

• Bring your tent and camping gear!
• Campout ends at 10:00 AM on September 12th

🔭 Special Activity:

• The Fort Worth Astrological Society will be present from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM on September 11th!

👥 Important Notes:

• Adults 17 and older must have a fishing license.
• No fishing license required for kids 16 and younger.
• Registration is required and opens on August 1st.
• Register online, at the Hector F. Garcia Community Center (7901 Indian Springs Rd.), or at Capp Smith Park on the day of the event between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
