The Titanic and its era. Guided tour of the exhibition with Evžen Nácar.

Mgr. Evžen Nácar, professor of history and social sciences, lecturer and guide at the National Technical Museum, will introduce visitors to the era and major historical events at the time of the Titanic's departure during a guided tour. Visitors will not only become passengers on the most famous ship in the world, but will also get a glimpse into world history, where the second industrial revolution was coming to an end, a wave of migration was shaking the world, and the seeds of World War I were growing.

Evžen Nácar focuses on 20th-century history and the impact of the First and Second Industrial Revolutions on politics, society, and migration. A tour of the Titanic exhibition under his guidance will provide visitors with expert information, interesting connections, and unexpected revelations.

Practical information:

• The guided tour lasts approximately 60 minutes and is limited to 26 visitors. This preserves the exclusive nature of a private guided tour, during which visitors can ask the guide questions.
• After the tour, visitors are allowed to walk through the exhibition again on their own until closing time at 7 p.m. and read all the descriptions at their leisure, or listen to the entire audio guide in the Smart Guide app.
