La Nuit Disco is a 100% vinyl disco night, unpretentious, conceived as a community gathering where everyone has a place — a moment to come together, celebrate sincere music, and share that emotion collectively. Musically, La Nuit Disco draws on the Balearic philosophy: it is guided by feeling and embraces musical diversity, ranging from South African pantsula to Japanese city pop, from Brazilian boogie to the lush Philly sound, all the way to European proto-techno and deep house. At La Nuit Disco, it’s about music with soul — and the dancefloor above all.

More specifically, La Nuit Disco is:

(1) Inclusivity and diversity: La Nuit Disco is not a club; it is a community gathering where everyone belongs.

(2) Musical diversity / a musical journey: La Nuit Disco approaches disco in an inclusive sense — meaning the music that carried crowds into ecstasy in the great discotheques of the 1970s to 1990s. It is dance music with soul, embracing everything from Eurodisco, Brazilian boogie, South African pantsula, and Japanese funk to productions from the United States.

(3) Dancefloor first: La Nuit Disco is in service of its guests on the dancefloor — the DJ acts as a host, taking care of the crowd musically in the most appropriate way. The will of the dancefloor is the law.

(4) Musical enlightenment: At the same time, whenever possible, La Nuit Disco encourages musical discovery. In principle, tracks are allowed to unfold and develop their own narrative. The aim is a collective musical journey capable of elevating each and every person.

(5) DJing as craftsmanship: At La Nuit Disco, music is played exclusively on vinyl, reflecting a humble culture of digging, learning, and musical sharing — and, from a technical standpoint, to preserve an organic musical journey and authentic artistic expression, with no shortcuts, especially during back-to-back sets.
