Licking River Princess Competition

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Ohio River Paddlefest on August 1, 2025, Adventure Crew invites you to join in the festivities! 🎉 Whether you want to compete or simply cheer on the contestants, everyone is welcome!

Get ready for the Tributary Princess competitions taking place across various venues throughout July. Contestants can vie for the title of Tributary Princess for:

• Great Miami/Whitewater Rivers
• Licking River
• Little Miami River
• Mill Creek

The winning princess from each tributary will advance to the 2026 Ohio River Queen competition at the Outdoors for All Expo on the evening of July 31. Each princess will also enjoy free entry to Ohio River Paddlefest on August 1 and will have the honor of leading the flottilla alongside the Ohio River court! 🚣‍♀️

Requirements to Compete for Tributary Princess:

• Available to attend the Expo and Paddlefest
• Open to all genders
• Must be 21 years or older

The competition consists of three equally-weighted sections:

1. Costume: Dress in a way that represents your waterway.
2. Ode to the Tributary: Create an original piece (song, dance, poem, painting, etc.) that captures the essence of your tributary. You’ll have up to 3 minutes to perform or present your ode!
3. Trivia: Answer trivia questions about your specific tributary.
