Emerging at the forefront of a revival inspired by late 70s to 90s electronic music, LIGHT ASYLUM fuses influences from Detroit techno, Belgian new beat, EBM, gothic rock, Chicago house, new wave, and synth pop.

Their journey has evolved through iconic releases like the gothic club anthem "Dark Allies" from the In Tension EP and their self-titled full-length LP, both pivotal in igniting the dark wave genre amidst NYC’s underground scene.
