The Untangling Lab

Join us for a live, practical workshop designed to explore a different way of making sense of messy people challenges—especially the ones that don’t sit neatly in one box.
This session will be the first run of The Untangling Lab, where we’ll test a simple but structured approach to diagnosing complex workplace issues. Using real themes from across the room, we’ll work through a framework—Discover, Assess, Explore & Clarify—to step back from reactive solutions and better understand what’s really driving the challenges we’re seeing.
Expect a hands-on, interactive session where you can bring real situations from your organisation, share perspectives, and start untangling the complexity in a more structured way.
About the speaker
Dervla Gallen is an Applied Psychologist and Founder of Untangled Consulting. She works with organisations to unpack complex challenges across people, pressure and performance—helping teams move beyond surface-level fixes and towards a clearer understanding of root causes. She is currently developing the Untangled Insights Framework and will be using this session to test and shape it live with L&D professionals.
