Lorenzo Masotto: Candlelight Chamber Concert

Italian pianist and composer Lorenzo Masotto returns to Brno following last year’s concert at Besední dům, where he was warmly received by the audience. This time, you will hear him differently – in a more personal setting, where you can fully let the music carry you.

The programme features a selection of his work, including pieces from his new album Clinamen. His music moves between neoclassical, ambient, and delicate improvisation – shaped by a strong sense of detail, silence and atmosphere, with a gently meditative quality.
The Multicultural Center Brusinka invites you to an evening that unfolds at its own pace. Candlelight, piano, and a quiet space where every note can fully resonate. Music as it is best experienced – up close.

The concert will take place at the Community Centre on Dominikánská Street, in the courtyard of the Brno-střed Town Hall, where the intimate atmosphere naturally brings the music closer to the audience. The performance will be played on a Petrof concert grand piano, whose sound will gently connect and shape the mood of the entire evening. At the piano, in the glow of candlelight, everything slows down for a while.
