Mermaid Art Contest & Reception

🌊🎨 Calling All Artists!
Join us for the whimsical Mermaid Art Contest, open to all ages and mediums! Create a stunning 2x3 ratio artwork featuring mermaids in portrait orientation for a chance to be featured on the front cover of the 2026 Walnut Beach Event Calendar.

📍 Submission Details:

• Drop off your art at Giggling Pig Art Studio, 44 Naugatuck Ave, Milford, from Monday to Friday (9:30 AM - 12:00 PM) or Saturdays (9:30 AM - 11:00 AM).
• All entries must be submitted by February 10th. Don’t forget to write your name and contact information on the back of your masterpiece!
• By submitting, you agree to have your art used for the calendar and related marketing.

🏆 Judging:
Our panel of impartial artist judges will select the winning piece on February 14th during the Artist Appreciation Reception at the Milford Art's Council Firehouse Gallery, located at 81 Naugatuck Avenue.

🎉 Reception Details:

• When: February 14 16:00 - 19:00
• What: Join us for live music by the amazing Elana Zabari and celebrate our local artists!
