Native Garden Workday: Staking tall plants

Learn new gardening skills at our monthly workdays! This month, we'll demonstrate a few methods of staking tall, floppy plants.Learn several ways to inconspicuously support tall, stately flowers and keep them looking their best! Join us to get some practice, then stick around to help with some other tasks around the garden.-----FAQ:Do I need to register?Registration via Eventbrite is not required, but it helps us get an accurate headcount.What should I wear?Come prepared to work outdoors! Please check the forecast and dress for the weather. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Wear closed-toed shoes. On cool days, we recommend wearing layers that can be removed as you warm up. You may also want to wear a sunhat or apply sunscreen.Should I bring anything?Please pack a good amount of water. We will provide gardening gloves and tools, but if you have your own equipment, feel free to bring it.What if the weather is bad?If it rains, we will postpone or cancel the workday - please monitor your email for updates, or feel free to call Meadow City at 216-282-6911 to check in. We usually work no matter the temperature.Is there parking?Yes, there is ample parking across from the nursery. Just follow the signs!
