Neighborhood Walk on the Sycamore Greenway

Join us for a delightful neighborhood nature walk on the Sycamore Greenway Trail! 🌿✨

For our July gathering, we're partnering with the Sycamore Greenway Friends and we’re excited to have Tyler Baird, Iowa City Superintendent of Parks & Forestry, share insights and history about the trail, while also answering your questions! 👨‍🏫💬

📍 Meeting Point: Near the obelisks at Grant Wood Elementary.
🚶‍♂️ Walk: We’ll stroll to the bench near the midpoint of the trail (past the birds sculpture). The trail is approximately 1.6 miles round trip, but we can adjust our path based on the group's comfort—feel free to turn back if it gets too warm or if a shorter walk is preferred. 🌞🍃

Don't forget to bring along water, sunscreen, and your walking shoes. 🥤🧢 Pets on leash are welcome! 🐕
