Nukhu Rebuilt: App Relaunch + Nukhufest 2026 Kickoff

🎉 Join us at Fabrik Dumbo for the relaunch of Nukhu, a rebuilt streaming platform and creative ecosystem designed to help independent films and filmmakers build audience, earn revenue, and continue thriving beyond the traditional festival circuit.

🤝 This filmmaker mixer, hosted in partnership by Sanjay Singh (Nukhu), Charles Bullard (Crafting Soulful Stories), Melissa Center (Center Yourself Productions), and MéLisa Best (HAUS OF INFINITY STUDIOS), brings together filmmakers, content creators, producers, actors, writers, creative entrepreneurs, and community builders from across our networks.

🗣️ The goal is straightforward: to create a space for individuals from various creative communities to meet, exchange ideas, discover new collaborators, and learn more about the projects being developed by each host.

🔄 Nukhu has been rebuilt to provide independent films with a lasting home after their festival runs. Filmmakers can create detailed Nuvee pages, share trailers and production materials, retain ownership through non-exclusive participation, earn eligible viewing revenue, connect with audiences, and generate demand for theatrical screenings.

🎥 Nukhufest 2026 will showcase films selected by Nukhu members at Cinema Village in Lower Manhattan for seven days from September 11 through September 17.

🏆 The Best Nuvee will be announced during the Nukhufest Awards Ceremony on September 19, with the winning filmmaker receiving the Nukhu Foundation’s Development-to-Distribution Grant to support their next project.
