Join us for the vibrant Nuyorican Bowery Slam at the Bowery Poetry Club in NYC! 🎤✨

This iconic poetry slam series, rooted in the Nuyorican Poets Café's history, is hosted by the talented JRose & Luna Rosa every Monday evening.

💫 Location: 308 Bowery (between E. Houston & Bleecker Streets), Manhattan, NYC
🕕 Line starts: 6 P.M.
🕡 Doors open: 6:30 P.M.
📜 Sign up to perform at the stage upon entry (first-come, first-serve).
🕖 Slam time: 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

🌈 How It Works:

• Poets perform one original poem in 3 MINUTES per round (any topic).
• Judges from the audience will score performances from 0.0 to 10.0.
• No musical accompaniment or props allowed.
• Two rounds: top poets advance to the second round.
• The winner (based on combined scores) receives $20 cash and a chance to compete in the Nuyorican Poets Café's monthly Final Friday Slam!
