Ocean Artivism: Colour the Change
Art has always been a powerful tool for climate change. On 24 June, join us in the heart of Soho for a free, interactive colouring experience that brings the ocean to life.
This is part of the Ocean Hub, a dedicated space at London Climate Action Week 2026 for the very first time, bringing together ocean-climate solutions under one blue thread, where ocean protection, nature recovery, and decarbonisation work as one to address the climate and biodiversity crisis.
We're taking over Golden Square with a giant collaborative colouring wall, designed and delivered by Fancy Features, specialists in telling stories through giant interactive art. Custom-built around ocean-climate themes, the wall brings to life the creatures and features of the deep sea, climate solutions like offshore wind and blue carbon, and the human-ocean connection.
Pick up a pen, add your colour, and become part of a living artwork. The completed installation will be exhibited as a lasting legacy of the event, with an associated social media campaign to carry the message further.
This is for everyone, across all ages and backgrounds. No art experience needed, just curiosity and care for our ocean.
