“Strides Against Silence!”
Join us for a morning of remembrance, survivorship, and community action. This event grew from heartbreak into a COMMUNITY LIFELINE following the accidental loss of Kelly Pierce Peterson. In just two years, our community has shown up in force—with 590+ participants raising nearly $50,000 to prevent overdose, support recovery, and strengthen families right here in Charlotte County.

We believe that SHAME HAS NO PLACE HERE. To honor those we have lost:
• Memorial Angels will be placed along our 1-Mile Remembrance Walk.
• Names will be proudly announced during the event—we speak their names to keep their memories alive.
• HOW TO SUBMIT: When you register at the link below, you will find a section to submit your loved one's name and information for the Memorial Walk.
• Please ensure submissions are completed by August 15th to guarantee placement.

• Cathy’s Place of Charlotte County: Peer support, treatment/housing navigation, and family services.
• Drug-Free Charlotte County: Prevention education, youth programs, and community outreach.
