
Palestinian Plant-based Evening by Intifooda Kitchen
Palestine has a rich culinary history, dating back thousands of years. Intifooda Kitchen incorporates traditional ingredients from this culturally diverse region into creative dishes with a twist.
The “sufra” starts with a mezze of herbaceous, zesty salads and dips with Palestinian pita bread, followed by generously filled vegetable pies. After a short intermission with storytelling, the main dish consists of a colourful springtime stew with legumes and roasted seasonal greens alongside an aromatic grain, finally ending with a fragrant dessert.
This unique culinary experience will be enhanced with a storytelling intermission in-between two courses.
Flavourful natural wines that pair beautifully with this West Asian menu will be selected, and available to purchase at the venue.
