Past Times at Glidden: Tinsmithing Day

🌟 Join us at the J.F. Glidden Homestead & Historical Center for an exciting day dedicated to the art of tinsmithing during Past Times at Glidden: Tinsmithing Demos!
📅 Enjoy live demonstrations led by Scott Cochrane from Oak Park, who will showcase the traditional craft of tinsmithing. Learn how to shape metal into functional and decorative household objects, using tools like shears, hammers, stakes, and soldering irons.
🔍 Discover the techniques employed by tinsmiths and explore the rich history behind this art form, from lanterns to cookie cutters!
✨ Admission is only $5 per person and is free for Glidden Homestead members. This includes both the demonstration program and a guided tour of the historic homestead!
