PHANTOM SPELL LIVE IN AGRINIO METAL UNION

After their riveting two-night performance at the Up The Hammers Festival, Phantom Spell returns to Greece for a full-scale headline show at the Metal Union Club in Agrinio! Fans will have the opportunity to experience their complete repertoire live!

Known as one of the most exciting acts in contemporary metal, Phantom Spell pays homage to traditional heavy metal while boldly embracing ’70s prog influences, drawing inspiration from legendary bands such as Wishbone Ash, Camel, and Uriah Heep. With a vintage aesthetic, catchy melodies, and a sound that's both nostalgic and fresh, this Spanish quartet is recognized as a rising star in the NWOTHM scene.

The mastermind behind this project, Kyle McNeill (also of Seven Sisters), channels his creativity into Phantom Spell, creating a personal expression that truly shines! Their debut album, Immortal’s Requiem (2022), set the foundation, while their latest release, Heather & Hearth (2025), emphasizes their prog and folk influences with richer arrangements and longer compositions.

In a live setting, their music transforms, as melodies, guitars, and keyboards weave an enchanting prog soundscape during spirited performances, wrapped in light fantasy elements that make each show a unique experience. You won’t want to miss this electrifying performance!

Opening Act: Blazing Light

• Formed in 2022, Blazing Light was born from the passion of Andreas Kolovos (guitar) and Michalis Polyzos (bass) for authentic hard rock and heavy metal of the ’80s. As their lineup solidified, they began composing energetic, melodic songs filled with emotion. They’ve shared the stage at the Metal Union Club and made their mark at the Metal Union Festival as the opening act for the legendary Rhapsody of Fire.
• With the recent addition of Grigoris Dimitrogiannis on drums, they are more motivated than ever to record their debut album, continuing to bring their vibrant energy to every performance.
