Plutoshots: Ideas x Builders

🌟 Plutoshots is a curated gathering where unfinished ideas meet the people who might help make them real.

🤝 It’s not a pitch competition and it’s not another networking mixer. It’s a semi-formal space designed to bring technical and non-technical people together around ideas, problems, skills, and things worth building.

Take your shot

🎤 We’ll select 15 people to give a two-minute shot to the room. You can:

• Pitch an idea you’re building or want to explore
• Share a problem or theme you can’t stop thinking about
• Pitch yourself, your skills, and the kind of project you’d love to join
• Tell the room exactly who or what you’re looking for

🚫 No slides. No polished startup theatre. No need to have everything figured out. Just two minutes to tell us:

• Who are you? What are you exploring? Who do you want to meet?

One match, curated for you

🔍 Before the event, we’ll ask attendees about their skills, interests, ideas, and the kinds of people they want to meet. From that, every attendee will receive one curated 1:1 match — someone in the room we think you should have a conversation with. We’ll tell you who they are and why we matched you before you arrive.

The evening

• 5:30–5:50 PM: Arrival, check-in, light snacks + informal conversations
• 5:50–6:00 PM: Welcome to Expedition 01
• 6:00–6:35 PM: 15 Shots — two minutes each
• 6:35–6:45 PM: Snack break + find the people who caught your attention
• 6:45–7:05 PM: Your Curated Match — one intentional 1:1 conversation
• 7:05–8:00 PM: Open Collisions — meet anyone in the room you want to continue the conversation with

Who should come?

👥 Founders, engineers, designers, product people, operators, marketers, researchers, domain experts, students, and curious builders. You do not need an idea to belong here.

💡 Maybe you have something you desperately want to build. Maybe you have technical skills and are looking for the right problem. Maybe you understand an industry deeply. Maybe you’re a designer looking for an engineer, or an engineer looking for someone who understands distribution.

🎟️ Attendance will be curated to bring together a complementary mix of technical and non-technical builders.
