Join us for the Pottsville After Dark series as we delve into the past of this stunning 1893 structure, once home to the influential Sheafer family during Pottsville’s coal and industrial boom. 💼🏭

In the mid-20th century, this site transformed into a YWCA, impacting generations with dance, gymnastics, and social programs. Yet, whispers suggest that some spirits remain—perhaps they never really left… 👻✨

Your guides for the evening, Leah McKain and Amy Dee, will provide a detailed introduction to the building’s layered history and the equipment used in paranormal investigations. Equip yourself with the fundamentals before breaking into smaller groups for hands-on activities. Each group will explore various areas of this historic site, attempting to make contact and document any unusual activity after dark.
