Race Ornö Runt Onboard Diva 399 Est! Est!! Est!!!

Join us for an exhilarating two-day adventure at Stockholm’s largest archipelago regatta – Ornö Runt! 🛥️

Organized by Tyresö Båtklubb since 1973, this prestigious race has been a highlight of the Stockholm sailing calendar, traditionally held on Pingstafton or a nearby weekend. With over 400 boats at its peak, this race promises an unforgettable experience! 🌟

What to Expect:

Friday Afternoon & Evening:

• Start off with a practice session as we head towards Dalarö, getting everything set for race day! 🛳️
• Divide roles on board and master essential maneuvers.
• The boat will be safely docked in Dalarö for the night.

Saturday: Race Day!

• Gather in Dalarö for the transport of the boat to the starting area at Kolnäsviken. 🚀
• Compete in a full day of racing around the iconic island of Ornö.
• After racing, choose to disembark in Dalarö or enjoy a delivery sail back to Viggbyholm in Täby.

Included in the Course:

• Your yacht equipped with all necessary gear and navigation instruments.
• Course literature from RYA Yachtmaster Offshore.
• Dock fees, fuel, and race entry fees are all covered! 🎉

What to Bring:

• Your own life jacket.
• Weather-appropriate sailing clothing.
• Lunch, snacks, and a personal water bottle. 🥤
• Optional: Your own starting watch or timer for practice!

Note: Basic sailing experience and navigation skills are required. Feel free to enroll in additional sessions for extra practice ahead of the big race!

With over 15 years of racing experience, Madeleine has a vast background in sailing, coaching, and competitive racing, including podium finishes in various regattas. 🏅
