From the roots of his childhood farm on Minnesota’s Iron Range, Steven Solkela embodies a unique musical journey charmed by Finnish culture and a strong work ethic. 🎹 Known for his versatility, Solkela appeals to audiences of all ages with his remarkable performances, whether it's gentle Finnish ballads on the accordion or energetic beats from his famous 23-piece “Overpopulated” one-man-band. 🌍✨
His engaging performances often mix comedy and varied stunts on unicycles, skateboards, or stilts, captivating audiences across generations. 🎭 With a solid foundation in music gained from Rowan University in New Jersey, Solkela has established himself as a beloved figure in the Northern Minnesota music scene, releasing seven studio albums and performing around 200 gigs each year.
