🌟 Important: You must complete the SP 101: Intro to Vera's Screen Print Studio class before participating in an Open Session!
Vera's screen print studio provides four-hour Open Sessions for individuals who wish to utilize our lab for personal projects. Each session is supervised by a volunteer moderator, ready to offer insights and support based on the knowledge gained from the SP 101 class.
Ticket Options:

  • Vacuum Table: Ideal for paper and flat media
  • T-shirt Press: Perfect for shirts, tote bags, and fabrics
  • Screen Prep: Focused solely on screen preparation
    Each ticket is limited to two.
    If your desired ticket is sold out, don’t hesitate to join the waitlist to be alerted when a spot opens up!
    What Vera Provides:
  • Rentable screens
  • Emulsion and emulsion remover
  • Squeegees
  • Basic tools (spatulas, rulers, tape, etc.)
    What Participants Must Bring:
  • Substrate (paper, t-shirts, etc.)
  • Water-based ink (note: non-water-based inks are not permitted)

    🔍 FAQ:
  1. Can Vera print a transparent stencil for me?
    Yes! Just send your stencil in .PDF format (max size: 12" x 18") at least 24 hours in advance. Stencils cost $5 and can be paid upon arrival.
  2. Need direct assistance with your project?
    Our moderators can assist with topics from the SP 101 class but may not provide direct project tutoring. For one-on-one guidance, contact matt@theveraproject.org for private tutoring requests.
  3. No slots available for Open Sessions?
    Our studio is in high demand, and we apologize for the inconvenience. For private rental inquiries outside Open Sessions, please email matt@theveraproject.org.
