Welcome to the Shore Fishing for Sturgeon – Community Day!

Join us at Matsqui Tail Park for an exciting day on the Fraser River, hosted by Shorelord and Fred’s Custom Tackle. This event is perfect for all anglers, whether you're just starting out or have years of experience!

📍 Location: Matsqui Tail Park
💰 Entry Fee: FREE EVENT

What to Bring:

• Your fishing rod
• A valid BC tidal waters fishing licence
• Lighter rod recommended (if you have one)
• Feel free to bring a second setup for pike minnow fishing with worms!

Activities Include:

• 🎣 Sturgeon fishing tips and techniques
• 🐟 Proper catch and release handling demonstrations
• 🔍 Live fish tagging and scanner setup showcased
• 🤝 Gear discussions and Q&A sessions

Additional Information:

• 🚤 Boaters are welcome! Just be sure to anchor at a safe distance from shore.
• 🙌 Volunteers Needed: We're looking for extra hands to assist with tying hooks and helping anglers. If you have spare rods to share, that would be fantastic!
