Slow Viewing with the Springfield Arts Council

Join us for Slow Viewing, a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in interpreting and discussing art. This engaging practice invites guests to spend an hour deeply observing and conversing about the artwork on display. By doing so, you’ll gain a richer understanding of how you and others connect with art and each other.

In July, we will feature a selection from the Best of Missouri Hands exhibition at the Creamery Arts Center. This event is free and welcomes everyone! Facilitated by the talented artist and educator Shauna LeAnn Smith, no prior knowledge of art history or interpretation is required.
