About Somi:
Somi Kakoma is a captivating vocalist, composer, writer, and performer, hailed by The New York Times as “a performer in full command of her instrument and powers.” Born to Rwandan and Ugandan parents in Illinois, Somi artfully bridges the cultural divide between Africa and America through her music. 🎶
