Soul ožil is a new phenomenon on the Prague funk scene. It is an energetic band with a precisely phrased brass section, uncompromising rhythmics and a charismatic singer. This nine-member ensemble focuses on genres that are often neglected today, such as soul, funk or R&B, and emphasizes quality, precision and a groove that will leave no listener in peace. The band mainly plays covers, from artists such as Tower of Power, Aretha Franklin, Al Jarreau, Fred Wesley and others.
