The vocal ensemble Canta! together with the string quartet Giovanni Ensemble Prague, presents one of the most moving sacred works of the Baroque era – Stabat Mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.

This performance is built on simplicity and authenticity – without experiments, with an emphasis on purity of ensemble, a chamber sound, and the direct communication of emotion.
