Summer Handbuilding Pottery Classes (Surface Design)

Join us for a creative journey in pottery! This class will immerse you in the world of surface design techniques through project-based work. You'll have the opportunity to craft multiple handbuilt projects from start to finish, focusing on structure, surface design, and glaze application.

✨ Prior Experience: Some previous clay experience is preferred but not essential. This class also caters to those who have completed the Intro to Pottery and want to blend wheel thrown pieces with handbuilding techniques. Just ensure you're comfortable throwing without instruction.

👥 Class Size: Minimum 4, maximum 8 participants. Ages 16 and up (with special permission).

💲 Cost:

• $100 for Emerge members
• $140 for non-members

🔧 Supply Fees:

• $25 per bag of clay (includes glazes and firing)
• $20 Tool Kit (includes bucket, large sponge, various tools)
