Join us at the Ames Public Library for an exciting summer program designed for 6th-12th graders to explore mindfulness through creativity!
🗓️ Schedule of Activities:

Wednesday, June 10: What is Mindfulness?
Explore calligraphy while diving into the essence of mindfulness. -
Wednesday, July 8: Loving-Kindness
Create friendship bracelets as we discuss mindful breathing and relationships. -
Wednesday, July 22: Living in the Here-and-Now
Make stamps and engage in a conversation about gratitude and mindful technology use. -
Wednesday, August 5: Mindful Eating and the Senses
Craft air-dry clay magnets while discussing the importance of using our senses mindfully. -
Wednesday, August 12: Environmental Mindfulness
Get creative with a mixed-media collage while observing our surroundings mindfully.
